Extracurriculars

Dothan Brook School has a wide variety of extracurricular activities throughout the year.  Extracurricular activities give students a chance to engage with their peers and practice CSR behaviors both inside and outside of the classroom.  Activities include: 

Finding Our Strides

cropped-finding-our-stride-horiz"Finding Our Stride is a school-based running program in middle and elementary schools in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. Our mission is to build fitness, self-esteem and teamwork through running." Finding Our Stride is for boys & girls in grades 3-5. The Dothan Brook School team typically meets twice a week and trains for a local 5K.  Learn more at: findingourstride.org
 

Drama Club

Dothan Brook School has a vibrant drama club which puts on a musical production each spring.  Past shows have included Junie B. Jones Jr., The Wizard of Oz Jr, and Snoopy Jr.  Students in 4th and 5th grades are able to participate. The show is directed by 4th grade teacher Lanni Luce West and music teacher Alicia Dale.  

Growing Changes

Growing Change is a Farm-to-School volunteer group founded by Dartmouth students in 2011. Growing Change members work to educate youth in the Upper Valley about food systems and healthy living with a hands-on approach. Learn more at: orgsync.com/122254/chapter
